What to Do When You See an Abandoned Property
The Property Maintenance Division is asking for your help in identifying abandoned properties. These types of properties are often vacated suddenly, unmaintained or unsecured. This can create an unsafe and hazardous condition. When an abandoned property is discovered, numerous steps are taken to resolve a potentially hazardous situation. Banks are now required to maintain and register any pre-foreclosure or foreclosed abandoned properties with the City. The sooner we can identify an abandoned property, the sooner we can resolve an issue. Please submit an Abandoned Property Registration Form (PDF).
Any suspicious activity at a vacant property should be reported immediately to the Fairborn Police Department at 937-754-3000.
