City Solicitor
Mission Statement
To provide legislative guidance and appropriate legal services for the smooth and proper function of all aspects of local government, and to provide services to crime victims and witnesses through the Fairborn/Beavercreek Victim Assistance Program.
Specific Functions
- Attend all City Council meetings. Prepare ordinances, resolutions, and legal documents for the City.
- Perform such other duties required by the City Manager or law.
- Prosecute criminal actions in the Fairborn Municipal Court.
- Provide legal advice to the City Council, City Manager, and City Officers in matters relating to their official duties.
- Represent the City, its officers, and employees in civil lawsuits involving the interests of the City.
