GIS (Geographical Information Systems)

What is GIS?
GIS is a map-based program used for capturing, checking, storing, analyzing, managing and displaying geographical information. GIS provides the opportunity for spatial analysis which can reveal patterns and geographic connections that may not be apparent in text and on tables.

GIS information is also provided by the Greene County Auditor's Office. Property searches by address or owner name can be performed using the Greene County GIS Map Server.

GIS Maps & Data
The GIS Maps are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your computer to view the items. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for Free on the Adobe Website.
