Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd. Project

The Dayton-Yellow Springs project kicks off today. The intent of this federally funded project is to repair the deteriorated concrete and perform concrete diamond grinding to improve the rideability of the roadway at DYS from the I-675 SB exit ramp to just east of Gateway Drive.

This week our contractor will start by removing a concrete median near Skyhawk Ct and installing a new pavement shoulder east of the southbound exit ramp.

Expect to see crews place cones and signs today as maintenance of traffic is installed so that our contractor can safely do their work. Traffic is expected to be restricted but no closures are anticipated with this work. Once this preliminary work is completed, Phase 1 can begin.

The projected is estimated to take four months to complete. Please drive slowly and carefully through the work zone.
